Lets start by making sure your decoder is connected.
Step 1 - DStv Fibre Connection
Located at the back of your decoder you would find a connector labeled LNB in - UniCable or SATCR
Please ensure this cable is all the way connected by using a RF-Connector and to your (a.)DStv Smart switch OR (b.)DStv Smart FTU
a. DStv Smart Switch - Unicable outputs 1, 2, 3 or 4 and ensure a blue light.
b. DStv Z-FTU - Unicable outputs 1, 2 or 3 and ensure a Green Light
Note: If these steps were not successful please repeat Step 1 - Decoder LNB Connection
Step 2 - DStv Fibre Connection
a. To complete the following you would need a Yellow Fibre Patchlead for example
Note: The metal connector has a Notch and needs to be aligned before screwing down the metal connector.
Please seat the SC (Blue) Connector into the Clear Access ATB
b. Once you can see these two lights (Green and Blue) you are ready to move on to step 3
Please note that if the signal light does not come up please re-seat both connectors alternatively contact us on 0111000210.
Step 3 - Rescan your DStv channels
a. Press the Blue DStv button on your DStv remote and navigate left to Settings > Satelite Settings > Home Network and press the OK button on your DStv remote. You should see the following picture on your TV.
Note: The blue bars on the right only appear if Step 1 and 2 has been performed successfully.
b. Go down to Scan All and press the OK button on your DStv remote when all the bars on the right are blue
Note: The blue bars on the right would sometimes pulsate and would require you to press the OK button in quick succession of an illuminated Tuner 1 2 and 3 status bar.
